넬슨 만델라 전 남아공 대통령이 오늘 새벽 타계하셨다.

암흑의 시대에는 자유와 정의, 민주주의를 위한 투사로,
서광이 비치기 시작한 후에는 평화와 화합의 전도사로 살아온 고인의 넋을 기린다.

영어의 몸이던 시절 애송하셨다는 시를 함께 나누며,
고인의 영혼의 영원한 안식을 기도한다.

나를 감싸고 있는 밤은
온통 칠흑같은 암흑
억누를 수 없는 내 영혼에
신들이 무슨 일을 벌일지라도 감사한다.
